Information about Cookies
This website contains so-called cookies. A cookie is a little text file that is stored on your computer and which contains information. There are two kinds of cookies. One kind saves a file permanently on your computer. This is often used for functions such as "new since last time", that is to say when you revisit www.rain-oo.org and only want to see the information that has been changed since last time you visited the website.
The other kind of cookie is called session cookie. During the time that you are on-line surfing a site, this cookie is sent between your computer and the server in order to connect information, such as for example your userid whjen you have logged in in the member area. Session cookies are not stored permanently in your computer, but disappear when you close your web browser.
Cookies are also used for purely technical reasons and many websites use them today. According to the new Electronic Communications Act, which enter into force on 25 July 2003, everyone who visits websites should be informed about what cookies are used for and given an opportunity to refuse such use.
This is how you can disallow cookies in your web browser
